Using the Stretchy Cast On with a Knit Hat

This has been interesting.

I used some worsted yarn and a 7 (4.50 mm) hook for the cast on, transferred the loops to a size 8 circular knitting needle, knit a row then knit the next row onto a size 7 circular needle.

This is the result:

This looks good so far and is appropriately stretchy. Yay!
