Socks and the Simple Stitch

Finished the other Sinbad sock and these are pretty comfortable:

I also made a sock using the Simple Stitch and the Purl Stitch:
sock
It looks nice, but the simple stitch lacks reversible stretch
so I would not consider it a success.

Oh well…

  2. Yes, you’re right. Thanks for the encouragement.

    The problem is that you need a springy twist to get elastic stretch
    and the Simple Stitch alone doesn’t have it. Bummer.
