Gobelin/Full Stitch in a Test Hat Band

I’ve been testing out another stitch on a hat band. The hat band is the usual thing, but the stitch is pretty.

This is the Gobelin or Full Stitch (the narrow band at the top, between the eyelets):

This one is FPass[DrawLoop(Space)] / RPass, which means that you draw the loop through the space between the vertical bars of neighboring stitches and that you do the usual return pass.

It’s a little tricky, because you drop a stitch at the beginning of the forward pass and add one at the end for alternate rows. Otherwise fabric from this stitch leans to the right.

Oops! I forgot to add that I finished the 2-ended hook hat band. There is still a problem with the right edge, where I carried the extra yarn.
